Pre-Enroll: Final?

Is our pre-enroll schedule pretty much final at this point, minus the FWS?

I hope not…filled discussion periods really messed up my schedule.

no but you probably wont be able to switch more than 1-2 courses around

I actually don’t want to switch anything around at all, lol…but I was considering enrolling in more classes if, for some reason, I wouldn’t be able to take a course that I enrolled in. Is that necessary? Because I love the schedule that I have right now.

you could add and then drop once you’re comfortable with your schedule

I’m 100% comfortable with my schedule as is. I just don’t want to show up during orientation week and find out that I won’t be able to take one or more of the classes I enrolled in, for whatever reason. I basically just want to know if I’m guaranteed a place in these courses now that I’ve registered for them.

you should be country angel…what courses? anyones not for freshman? i have heard cases of seniors getting priority for certain required courses but rare

yea ive heard of that too but i dont think they would just drop people. they would probably ask u first…hopefully lol

Nope, they’re all intro :)

Once you’ve hit the enroll button should you not play around with it anymore? Like if you decide you want to do something else does it really mess things up if you drop it and add something else during this July time period?

I wouldn’t worry, especially if your courses are intro level or if freshman have priority. There have been some instances in upper division classes where people were involuntarily dropped (with no advance notice) for whatever reason. That happened to students in one of the classes I took during my final semester. The class was over enrolled, so people who were not in an applicable major and/or not a senior were dropped.

But like the others have said, don’t worry. For 90% of students, the pre-enrollment period schedule is your final schedule (minus the addition of a PE and FWS class). For those of you who aren’t happy with your schedule because a desired section was full: continuing students do a lot of schedule shuffling during the add/drop period in August. Chances are, if you speak with the prof on the first day of class, you might be able to switch into the section or lecture you really want.

Thanks, dewdrop!
