Pre- Environmental Law Majors?

I'm currently a senior in high school, and I'll be attending Harpur College at SUNY Binghamton University in the fall. Initially, I'd intended on going into the veterinary field, and had applied to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, and been rejected; but regardless, I've been considering my future since then, and am fairly sure I'd be better able to accomplish my goals in life through the legal profession.

What should I be majoring in? I was considering majoring in either Biology, Environmental Studies, or a double major with both. What courses are recommended for someone wishing to go into law, particularly environmental law?

Should I consider transferring to a school better suited to my needs? Or should I just stay in Binghamton? I hope to eventually attend one of the top law schools for graduate school (ie NYU, Stanford, Cornell, etc), because I'm aware that only "the top graduates of the top schools" really go on to be successful in this field...Will Binghamton provide me with the rigorous courses necessary to prepare me for one of these schools?

For anyone interested, here's a summary of my stats...

Academic:

-96.4 weighted gpa as of the end of junior year (a little higher now, since my grades have improved this year).
-I have always taken the most rigorous courses offered at my school, however, and am an IB Diploma Candidate, and am currently taking AP Calculus AB (though doing somewhat poorly in it: I've somehow managed to maintain an 86 unweighted avg since the beginning of the year).
-I've been in my school's Science Research program since 9th grade, but was not enrolled in it this year because I was unable to find someone to mentor me so that I might conduct research over the summer to be entered in the Intel Science Research competition, but I've participated in the DuPont Challenge, as well as in the Long Island Science Congress twice (the first time receiving a Certificate of Recognition) over my past three years in the course.

Standardized Tests:

-SAT Math: 640
-SAT Crit. Reading: 670
-SAT Writing: 720
-SAT II Biology/E: 690
-SAT II Literature: 660
-SAT II Chemistry: 540
-SAT II World History: 610
-SAT II U.S. History: 600

Extracurricular:

-I am in several of my school's honor societies (National Honor Society, French Honor Society, English Honor Society, Science Honor Society, History Honor Society, and Technology Honor Society), as well as my school's Science Olympiad team.
-Vice President of History Honor Society and Secretary of Science Olympiad (which I have been a member of since my sophomore year, and have received medals in certain events twice).
-I have fenced on the school's junior varsity team in both my junior and senior year.
-I volunteered at a local animal clinic over the past two summers.

For the purpose of my questions, let's assume I'm able to maintain a 4.0 gpa in Binghamton, but am not in the Binghamton Scholars Program.

Any and all help/advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated! =)
