I'm currently a freshman at Cal and I am looking to go to a health-related professional school. I'm not sure what I want to do exactly right now, but I'm just taking the basic admission prerequisite courses right now: Math 1A, Chem 1A, R2A, and NST 10. I know that I'll be taking Math 1B for sure, but I don't know about the rest. Here are my options:

Chem: I can take Chem 1B or Chem 3A. I'm not sure which series is easier to do. If I take 1b, then I have to go through with the 112 series for O-chem. Now, I've heard the 112 series is just terrible. So should I suffer now or later?

R&C: I don't really want to take another R&C sequence next semester. It's quite painful for me, I plan to do it in my junior or senior year. By the way, can I take R5B to satisfy the second half of the requirement? I find Asian American Studies to be terribly painful. It's the probably the most fun I never want to have again.

Physics: I'm thinking the 8 series because it's easier but on the other hand, wouldn't the curve be disastrous for someone who has never taken physics before? Or I could take the 7 series, which is harder and possibly bad for the GPA. Any insights?

Thanks.
