So I'm having that semester. The one where you question your major, goals and post-undergrad options. I've been through everything from Economic, Creative Writing, Film studies, and Sociology. I know. Bit all over.

Right now I'm thinking that I want to a double major in 1) Creative Writing and 2) Fill-in-the-blanks (aka something a bit less useless, I'm aware)

I really want to consider both an MBA, but having always enjoyed a good argument and ethical matters (debate teams and whatnot) I can't help but consider law. Is there a non-advertised Pre-Law concentration at Columbia?

Is it possible to approach the school to "create" your own concentration or major for lack of a better word?

from what you've said i don't understand y u would need to create your own major

at CC you don't actually need to major in anything...you only need to have a concentration (minor) and then you're free to chose the rest of your classes any way you like. i would not recommend doing this though

"pre-law" doesn't exist anywhere. there are no set requirements for law school

That's a pretty stupid reason to even consider going into law. Physics professors have debates with each other and like a good argument over their field. So do a lot of people in many fields.
