Pre Law Help

So, I know absolutely nothing about law school, but I hear a lot of people become English/Poli Sci/Philosophy majors to become lawyers. I was wondering, are there any pre reqs for Law Schools like there are for Med Schools, and if not, what classes are suggested to be taken?

I know you can be any major and be pre law, but would it be a bad idea to be something like a Biology major and consider Law School?

Any help is appreciated. Right now, Law School is a definite and huge MAYBE in my life because I have a long time to decide. What do I really need to know about Law School and being Pre Law?

Thanks.

Any major is ok for pre-law. If you search for “LSAT by major”, you will see the relative popularity of different majors among LSAT takers.

cc has a great law school forum for such questions, but the short answer is: any major is fine. No prereqs. GPA+LSAT drive all law school admissions. So if you can earn A’s in bio, go for it.

Thanks guys. This was really helpful. I appreciate it.
