Pre Law

Hey everybody,

Im thinking about pre law for college next year - in your opinion which is a stronger program (if I get in of course)- the one at Columbia or UPenn. Advice please !!!

Thanks- I will check the link out

I don’t think either school has a “pre-law” program the way they have a pre-med program. There really isn’t any such thing, since there are no classes required to apply to law school.

Most if not all top schools do not offer a legit “Pre-Law” program. Just major in something you’re interested in and do well in it. Most law schools say that they don’t care what you major in, as long as it isn’t “Pre-Law”. Ironic, I know.

Whatever you do, do not take anything labeled as “pre-law”.

If you are considering law school, the education you would receive at either Columbia or Penn would be a fantastic launching pad for you.
