Where can I find pre-med advisors on campus? I want to make an appointment with the premed advisor to talk about some stuff but I don't know where I can find them... some people are saying revelle and some are saying career center :/

Does anybody know a phone number to call to make an appointment?

I’d try your college and the career services center. (sorry, too much work to google from a smartphone)

A lot of us are pre-med here too so you can try shooting some questions on here if you can’t find any advisers :)

There are no pre-med advisors on UC campuses in general, and if you manage to find some, stay away as they’ll do you more harm than good.
For starter, read relevant posts at CC and SDN pre-med forums.

The only premed advising you need is to try and stay at a 3.8 as long as possible your first and second years. Get involved with things you like at the same time.

I’d try an appointment with the grad/prof school counselors at the Career Services Center.

Go to this on Saturday of Family Weekend in October. Last year they did not check on who was registered, if I recall.

What is Medical School really like? Hear from a panel of UC San Diego medical students about their real-life experiences in medical school. Find out about the courses, experience, letters, MCAT, and personal motivation needed for admission to medical school. In addition to current medical students, staff from the Career Services Center will be present to answer questions about the application process and services to help your student in the process.

1:30 - 3:00 pm

Location: Career Services Center

Cost: FREE!

Registration: RSVP as part of Family Weekend Registration

funny - i think it was that exact session that made me drop all plans to be premed ;)
