We were recently told at Discover UCI, that UCI doesn't have a cadaver lab/anatomy class for pre-med students. Therefore, they have to take it somewhere else like at a community college. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

UCI has undergraduate courses in human and comparative anatomy, but they are not lab courses. However, I don’t believe medical schools require applicants to have taken anatomy lab in their premedical coursework:

I agree with MaMoose. I think dealing with cadavers isnt exactly an undergraduate activity.

Anatomy is not required for admission to medical school.

if ur paranoid, Irvine valley college (a nearby JC) has the class
bio 200 there

Okay, good to know. Thanks so much for all your advice.
