I know that there is no clear pre-med major at Madison, but how well does the university's undergrad program prepare students headed for med school?

Any stats?

Thanks.

Obviously a large number of students at the two instate medical schools will have gone to UW-Madison. Premed is an intention, not a major. The coursework can prepare you well for either school, especially Honors courses. The UW website premed section has advice about courses and the MCAT. Remember not to obsess about statistics; if you want to become a physician prepare to work hard, but also enjoy your undergrad experience. Enjoy your chance to become a well rounded person.
