<p>What do you guys know about Pre-med at Northwestern, is it good/worth it?</p>
<p>I'd also like to know, especially for those of us who didn't apply/were not accepted to NU's undergrad med program.</p>

<p>I'm not in WCAS, though, I applied for BME, but I'm definitely set on the premed track.</p>

<p>Their pre-med program is pretty especially if ur in HPME. My sister's friend just finished pre-med there and she's in med school now. I think the national average for acceptance into med school is like 20-30 percent, but NU's is around 80 percent.</p>

<p>The percentage isn't based on kids in HPME because they don't even need to apply for med school. So it would be 80 percent for the students applying to med school.</p>
<p>I found out yesterday online that I got in and got my fat envelop today. I McCormick Engineering...Bio-med...with pre-med emph....I'm sooooo happy!!!</p>
