Pre-Med: Bioengineering? Changed?

Alright, so I was admitted into the Jacob's School of Engineering, under the Pre-Med: Bioengineering major. I remember going to admit day, and learning that this major is going to be cut this school year. So I'm wondering what will happen to people who were accepted into this major? I put my intended major down as Bioengineering for this reason.

Also, I did some research, and found out they're changing it into a different kind of major, that offers a greater engineering emphasis, because Pre-Med: Bioengineering had little engineering aspects. The new major they're making into is most likely going to be called "Biosystems: Biomedical Devices".

So, in short, what happens to those of us who are in this major that's being cut in a year?

Is that the same major and BioE: Pre-med? lol.

Yeah, it’s probably the way you put it, but it shouldn’t make a difference.

The new major name sounds uber.
