I am very interested in becoming a doctor, but I had to make a tough decision concerning my schedule. I had to choose between AP Physics C and AP Biology. I originally wanted to take Biology, but I heard that the AP Bio teacher here is awful. I also heard that the Physics teacher is amazing. I decided to take Physics.

Will the colleges care that I have only taken one year of biology, considering that I'm going to be a pre-med?
(9- Pre-AP Bio, 10- Pre-AP Chem, 11- AP Chem, 12- AP Physics)

Very few HS senior premeds are still premeds in four years. I can't imagine your college will care.

No, but they'd still like to see you show some interest. Of course, I'm talking about the very selective ones (top 25).

If you really like biology, then you should be able to pull an A no matter how bad the teacher. Just my opinion.

They want to see you taking hard classes, sure, but what are the odds that a college will care about the difference between AP Bio and AP Physics?

An extra AP might matter. But replacing one for another? I can't imagine that's very significant.

it won't matter at all becuz you have enough AP sciences and it's a good idea that you chose AP Physx over AP bio becuz physics is a lot tougher than bio and i am pretty you can pull off an easy A in bio in college without even trying. most colleges don't care that you took ap bio becuz it's so easy. trust me pre-med bio is not that hard, it's just a lot of memorization. i have taken it. colleges will acknowledge that you took intense sciences. most people don't get into med school becuz of chemistry and physics and it's a good idea that you got them out of the way, you will have a better understanding once you get into college.
