<p>What are my chances of getting into a decent pre-med school. I'm currently a sophmore, and i was wondering where i could possibly go for pre-med. I have a strong interest in biology, anatomy,and physiology
GPA- 3.7
SAT- 1800 (but it could go up if i study more possibly to a 2000)

<p>Bring up your GPA and aim for an SAT score of 2000+ and ACT score of 29+ and you should be good. Don’t forget extracurriculars!! Premed is very competitive at most schools, so you need to make yourself stand out and show you have a genuine passion for medicine.</p>
<p>Btw I know a lot of students who wanted to be in premed and they had solid stats (2200+ SAT, 4.5+ GPA) but got denied because they didn’t express genuine passion for what they wanted to do. Turns out that most of them only wanted to enter the medical field for money lolololol</p>

<p>Accelerated med is not the same as pre-med. Sure, 4.5/2200 kids get rejected from accelerated med but at most schools, pre-med is not a major in itself, more like taking some courses that go towards med school requirements.</p>
