I am currently a senior in high school and am running out of time for college applications.
On the SAT I have a 650 for the reading and math, but I am taking it again on the 5th to get over a 700 on the math. I am looking for a college that offers a good pre med program, but is not too rigorous because a high gpa is needed for med school. I also would prefer schools that have medium to small class sizes. Preferably in the east or california. Thank you!

so far I am applying to University of Maryland and Penn State. Not too sure about going to Penn State since the class sizes are big

Pre-med courses are often among the largest courses in a university, since pre-med is popular.

Yea, I know the class sizes are large for pre-med, it’s just going to be something I’ll have to deal with.

I can’t think of a great California fit for you, with the limited information provided. What about UDelaware or Ithaca College?

Holy Cross has great pre-med program and nice campus.

Search ‘pre-med’ and you’ll get lots of info.

If you want small class sizes and you can afford it, you should be looking at the liberal arts colleges. UMD is huge: If that’s your in-state, consider St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the beautiful public LAC on the Chesapeake.
