<p>I would not assume that math and science are considered the same discipline.
For example, even though sociology, anthropology, economics, government and psychology are all considered “social sciences,” they are considered to be different disciplines.
Following that reasoning, I would think that math, biology, chemistry, physics, etc. are all different “disciplines.”</p>
