Pre-med/dental List

So far I've decided that I'm definitely applying to a few schools, but I'm aiming to apply to about 7-9. Which of the extras do you think would be good to have on my list if I'm planning to be a biology major for pre-med or pre-dental? Btw, I live in Maryland

Applying to:
-University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
-University of Maryland, College Park
-Penn State, University Park
-University of Wisconsin, Madison
-University of Notre Dame

Considering:
-Duke University
-University of Virginia
-Stanford University
-Yale University
-University of Pennsylvania
-Princeton University

Of your considering list, if you want to do pre-med, I’d definitely further consider Stanford.

I’ve heard of Stanford being a notorious premed school, but does it suffer from grade deflation like some other top schools, or do students benefit form grade inflation?

Georgetown

i know it’s a good school, but i don’t really like too much of an urban setting, and DC isn’t one of my favorite cities anyway. anyone else?

hahaa i seem to be posting the following up everywhere, but with good reason - it truly explains why duke is one of the best places for a pre-med/pre-dent. i like showing it to those considering top schools for such students.

i’d definitely consider adding it to your list :)

Duke has strong med school placement. Also Holy Cross-near Boston-has very good pre-med program and new science building.
