Pre med difficulty/fun

Hello, I was wondering if you are a smart student willing to put in work, I know it is very subjective, but how hard is it to get straight a's in uf pre med prerequisite classes? Is it possible to kick ass and also have fun? I'm planning on honors program.

Getting straight A’s all four years will be challenging but it’s definitely doable if you’re willing to sacrifice other things to study. Learn how to manage your time and you can get a 4.0 while still having some fun. At the end of the day, you don’t need a 4.0 to get into medical but keeping your gpa high is a must.

It’s hard. It’s not fun.

if you’re pre-med, you should be prepared to work really hard. It’s important to have fun, but you should also understand that if you want to get into a reputable medical school, you’ll have to sacrifice a lot of potential fun for hard work.

The biggest thing is not psych’ing yourself out. Many premeds I’ve seen are already defeated before they step into a physics or O chem class. Confidence, confidence, confidence.

Festivus nailed it with that comment. It’s all about the confidence. Work to be the best, and don’t let anyone or anything deviate you or discourage you from your goal.
