So hopefully i will be attending FCLC for Pre-Med in the fall 08 term. The issue i have always had was LC only offers Natural Science for its science majors but, if students are rejected from med schools what do they do with natural science degree? I mean, i always thought that i would do Chemistry or something, and then if i didnt make it to med school still opportunities with research and chem business.

When i applied to Fordham i had not known the courses are offered differently and honestly chose LC because its closer to home and a quicker commute. Now is there any possible way for me to be in LC and major in Chem or something?? Also am i allowed to take classes at Rose Hill or possbily even transfer after 2 years? I was checking some courses through OASIS and Rose hill definitely offers MUCH better science courses.

Any Comments/ Advice? do a lot of kids get into med school, dental school etc... with the natural science degree? if they dont what does the majority do?

^ yeah i've seen that, thats for the clarification about about taking classes at both campuses. Now can i major in a specific science in LC except for natural science? and what other jobs are there for "natural science" majors besides the pre-med, pre-dental etc.. health professions path.

"This major is for students who are pre-professional (pre-med, pre-dental, health professions) and for those who intend to go on to graduate school in the biological sciences, science education, science journalism and public health."

It appears as if Natural Sciences is only for those who intend to go to graduate school.

If you want to major in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, that will have to be done at RH:

you probably could. The question is if you will have the desire to wait out the two years... cuz you'll be traveling a lot to RH to do your labs.

It is very obvious that you can take classes at RH as shown in the website. If you are a Pre-Med major then you will be spending most of your time at the RH Campus. This means that you will be able to major in any field regardless of the classes offered in at your campus. If you attend LC then decide to major in Biology, you will be a FCLC'12 graduate or alumni, simple.

now i have to go to LC the only thing is they dont have biology, LC is where ive already been admitted ..so i have to go there. I dont think theres a bio major at LC its only natural science.
