<p>Can the (two semesters of) English requirement put forward by some medical schools be satisfied by any two English courses? Commonly recommended are two semesters of R&C, which are required anyway, but I have placed out of R&C completely and intend on taking other English courses, i.e. English 166AC, etc.</p>
<p>It may vary by medical school. It may be annoying, but look at each medical school to see what its requirements are.</p>
<p>There’s no way to completely place out of R&C unless you are a ChemE (<em>shakes fist</em>). Check with the Career Center–their counselors should definitely have an answer for this. (Personally have a hunch that an AC course won’t count, though.)</p>
