Pre-Med for UC's/USC?

I’m considering applying as pre-med to all of the UC’s and USC. This is all hypothetical of course, but if I had a choice between all of them, which is the best to attend? I’ve heard horror stories about the competition between pre-med students at top UC’s like UCB and UCLA, but the information I received is a few years old and I don’t know how true it still is. On the other hand, many people have said that USC appears deceptively easy to get a good GPA at, but the science courses are extremely difficult. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?

Premed is not a major that you apply to. But the courses that you take as a premed are very competitive in CA and it is competitive to get into med school and CA med school. You can browse the premed forum here too.

Sorry, I meant I was considering pre-med. Major-wise, maybe biochem. I know that pre-med courses seem hard all around but will it be easier, perse, at USC compared to the UC’s?

Doubtful. USC is more selective, SAT - wise, than any of the UC’s.
