Pre-Med Freshman Fall Schedule

I am a little worried about what to take when. My schedule currently is..

MAJOR:BIOLOGY
Biology 101 w/lab -4 credits
Chemistry 111 w/lab -3 credits
Spanish 121 -4 credits
University 101 -3 credits
total-15 hours

17 hours is the maximum

I'm honestly not really great at math so I barely placed into Calculus I.. I know Chemistry involves a lot of math too, so I dropped Calc and put Spanish instead. I eventually have to take Calculus though, so should I keep it like I have it?

Get help in math, if you feel insecure about it. D. was supplemental Instructor to Gen. Chem prof and said that many have problem with GenChem because they try to memorise where they need to use math. Memorizing does not work very well when you need to understand concept. Also keep in mind that you would need lighter schedules in Junior (MCAT prep.) and Senior (Med. Schools interviews) years, like 15/16 hours every semester.

Is there a precalculus course that you can take? It might be review, and it might not count for credit, but if you feel uncertain about calculus you should definitely take it. Like it or not, you’re going to need mathematics for a significant number of courses.
