I was wondering whether anyone who's knowledgeable about the pre-med grade inflation or deflation can comment on it. My question is focused particularly on the biology department at CAS.

Thanks!

Well, this year grading for Principles of Bio I and II goes like this:

At least the top 17% of the class will get A/A-
At least the next 33% of the class will get B+/B/B-

That's the only thing that's been explicitly said, other than how much each test makes up of your final grade.

Thank you for the insight, shades. Does that hold for the honors principles of bio class as well?

That I don't know. It's possible, because the professor is the same guy, but I wouldn't count on it. Honestly, if you work hard, you shouldn't have much trouble at all.
