<p>I'm currently a freshmen in college having trouble picking a major for my premed track. I would just do the norm and go with biology, but what if I don't get into med school, what job can I get with a biology degree? Or maybe I should do it and stick it out, someone give me some advice.</p>
<p>Have you done research? If not, you should apply for some research opportunities. If you find you enjoy it, then going into a research field good be a back up to med school (or you might decide you want to go into research rather than medical practice).
You should talk to your advisor and to a professor in the Biology dept. The department, more so that any thing else, should be able to say what most of those who graduate with a Bio. degree do once they leave the college.</p>
