Pre-Med High School Club BIG Event Ideas

<p>Hey guys I'm a junior in a South Florida Catholic School. </p>

<p>So, here we go. Im the treasurer of our Pre-Med club (Future Healthcare Professionals) and I need some ideas for a HUGE project for me, along with 2 friends, to organize that can impact my local community. I dont care if it takes the better part of this junior year to get it done. I was thinking along the lines of either a school-wide or community-wide fundraiser and then use that money to actually either hold an event, donate, etc.</p>

<p>I really want my club to do something that really makes a difference in some people's lives. Let me be specific, I do want this to be a Non-Profit event, so its not just to raise money. I want it to stand out on college apps. </p>

<p>PLEASE, post anything you guys/girls may have done in your local pre-med club or if you have an idea post as well.</p>

<p>Get in touch with your local blood bank and see if you can organize a blood drive. If you can get a huge crowd - almost 250 showed up to give blood at ours - it’ll really stimulate your club. Any questions you can PM me.</p>
