PRE-MED Holy Cross vs. Ursinus???????

<p>I'm looking at Holy Cross and Ursinus for pre-med. I had previously considered Ursinus (and Holy Cross) my safety, but after visiting it and hearing about it's pre-med program it quickly shot to the top of my list. The same goes for Holy Cross. I really love both schools, and although I think Ursinus is better for pre-med, Holy Cross is closer in location- only about 40 min from where I live, whereas Ursinus is about 6-7 hours. Is it worth the distance?</p>

<p>Holy Cross is ranked much higher is general than Ursinus (#35 versus #81 US News Rankings). I am not familiar with Ursinus but HC gets about 90% of applicants into medical school and they just opened a fabulous $60 million dollar science complex in January.</p>
