pre-med in the southeast???

I'm a senior and want to go to school somewhere near atlanta, ga tech, uga, utk at knoxville, university of florida, and vanderbilt if i get in.. not likely tho.. i was wondering about ga teach vs. uga vs. utk. pre med programs??? please help!

Emory University is one of the best pre-med schools in Atlanta.

yeah... i didn't get in, thats where i really wanted to go... but now where?

Another great university near Atlanta is Mercer University:
<a href="http://www2.mercer.edu/Admissions/faq.htm%5B/url%5D">http://www2.mercer.edu/Admissions/faq.htm</a></p>

?:)

yeah, i already applied to the schools i wanted and its too late to apply anywhere else, a large-sized school was pretty important to me for some reason.. but any input on uga or ga tech pre-med??

I would say GA Tech would be a great school to attend:)

yeah i know its a great school, its a terrific school, but what about the pre-med aspect of it?

I never been to GA Tech? But I attended high school in georgia and some that attended my high school, chose Ga Tech over harvard(because of money problems), and georgia. Another person talked to me about people going to GA Tech are really well off....but most of my freinds went to perimeter college and then transferred to Emory because they really wanted to study medicine. GA Tech I heard is a very good school.

University of Florida has a very good pre-med curriculum and is also a very good school overall

yeah, im definetly considering it, i really wanted ga tech. but i haven't had one person tell me something good about the pre-med program.... =(
