Pre-med in the UK

I am curious if anyone knows anything about the pre med and med school process in the UK. I may have an opportunity to go to school there and I looked into the college I may be going to (Imperial College, London) and just got confused really quickly. It appears they somehow merge your undergraduate and med school work into one long 7 year deal. Is this true?
Anyway, if someone can just give me the basic lowdown on the process over there and how it's different from in the US, I would be deeply appreciative.

Thanks
AAmmo

UK system is same as the education system in India, which allows students to apply to med school in their 2nd year of College. So, if accepted, you would begin med school after your 2nd year of College.

^ you mean the education system in india is the same as that in the uk... not the other way around...

If X=Y, then Y=X.

Ah, but most things in India came after and as a result of things that had been in place in the UK.

Chronology is not implied by an equals sign.

It should be.

I vow to work toward a world where, one day, all equals signs also denote chronology.
