<p>Don't be silly. The difference in their effect on medical school applications is about 0.000375 Angstoms. In the mean time you will have to live and study at this institution for four years. Go with the college that fits. Premed is good everywhere, particularly those two colleges.</p>

<p>(If you want to be sure of med school admission, chuck Penn and MIT and go rank first at your state school. A much better bet, and you'll have plenty of money left over.)</p>

<p>If you get bad grades, you'll have a hellish time trying to get into med school. Jamimom might have a lot to say about this - but there is no point in being in the bottom half of a great school, because straight-up GPA is all that really matters.</p>
<p>Go for Penn - for some reason, I think it would be easier to ace orgo there than at MIT - and you aren't getting into med school without an A in that course.</p>
