Nursing?? UPENN accelerated nursing

So are you planning on being a nurse, pharmacist or MD?

I’m pretty undecided right now… If I do nursing, I plan on becoming a CRNA

I’m pretty undecided right now… If I do nursing, I plan on becoming a CRNA. Can you tell me my chances for each?

bumpp

I think it’s hard for people to tell you the chances for each, but it really depends on your personal statement for the 7 year med programs. If you cannot convey your passion for medicine and seem undecided, I doubt you will get in. Your volunteering is a little low, imo as well.
I would say that UPenn is a definite reach.

Also, how do you have a 5.07 weighted gpa?!
I’m obviously just another student, so what I say has nothing related to what an admissions officer might say…
Good luck though!

Is my weighted GPA too low…?

no it’s really high haha… I think it’s just that our schools calculate it differently, because at my school, 5.0 weighted is maximum you can get.

Oh hah yeah it’s different

I’m also applying as a nursing major to many schools too, and I was going to apply to some 7 or 8 year programs, but then I decided not to haha

I’m actually leaning towards a CRNA instead of med school… seems like less stress, less debt, in med field (which i like) and equal money?

that’s what I thought as well haha
