pre........med? pharm??

I'd like to become either a pediatrician or a pharmacist..
therefore i'm looking at premed and prepharm as majors.
I heard there are various programs for prepharm for undergraduates..
for example my friend got accepted into a 5 yr program in prepharm so she'll be done with all of her studies 5 years after high school..

Are there programs like that for premed also?
if so... where?!
and how long do u think it'd take to become a pediatrician after high school...? (6~10 years?)

4 years college
4 years medical school
3 years pediatrics residency

If you are like me and interested in any sort of medical (non-surgical) pediatric subspecialty - cardiology, neonatology, hematology/oncology, Emergency - all the pediatric fellowships are 3 additional years after residency.

I thought Pharm was a minimum of 6 years out of high school?

If you are referring to PharmD, yes. Here's Rutgers info.

If you mean a PhD in Pharmceutical Sciences (Pharmacology or Medicinal Chem or Pharmaceutics or Pharmacokinetics); it would be anywhere between 4-6 years post Bachelors degree
