courses ima take:

Bio 1B, 1A
Chem 1A, 3A, 3B, MCB102
Phys 8A, 8B
Math 16A, 16B

first off, any problem in these course above? secondly, which pre-med reqs are suggested to be completed prior to taking MCAT in order to do well on the test?

thankskss

thanks but i can also read on the website
i was looking for personal advice based on experience

Take all of the courses before you take the MCAT.

bump...
also, since i will prolly end up taking 2 sciences courses per semester, which courses do you guys suggest i overlap and which ones should I not? please consider course difficuluty, material overlap etc

Your first semester should be Math16A and Chem1A, no question.

Also, English courses need to go on that list of your pre-med requirements. Most schools require one or two terms of English (not necessarily in the English dept, but must be reading- and writing-intensive. Literature and composition).

After that it's kinda up to you. However, it is highly recommended that you not double Bio1A with either Chem3 courses - I took Bio1A and Chem3B together and it was the worst term ever. Bio1B is easy; Physics is generally pretty easy. The real killers on the pre-med reqs list is organic chem and Bio1A. Maybe physics, depending on professor.

Bio 1A/1AL is the most demanding series I've taken so far. Much more so than chem 1a, chem 3, bio 1b, and physics 8.

^^ such great news... I have to take bio1a/1al in the fall w/ a 19 unit courseload >_<
