I know Rutgers does not have a pre-med major, but which school do more of the pre-meds go? I applied to SAS and got in, but did not apply to the school of biological studies.. Will I still be able to fufill my requirements at SAS? Should I contact admissions?

I don’t know if one is necessarily better than the other, but you can definitely fulfill you’re requirements. I know plenty of people in sas working towards medicine. Technically you can go into medicine with any major, but most do biology or other sciences. (biology is offered in sas and sebs)

Thanks! I was just making sure that potential pre-meds didn’t have to be specifically in the Biological sciences school

No problem, a friend of mine went through the same thing this fall, but he applied and got into both SAS and SEBS and he still chose SAS. Maybe other pre meds on here can give you more information too.
