Hey Yall,

I'm just gonna start my freshman year @ college this fall and these are the courses I will be taking:

english 110 (college writing)
Calc I for Life Sciences
general Chem 110
Chem I LAB 111
bunch of music courses (music major)
italian I

15 credits

so, are these courses ok for pre-med for the freshman year?

thx

Yeah that looks fine.

From what I've seen, freshmen typically knock out genereal chemistry and calculus first year.

Sophmore year, they delve into organic chemistry, physics and biology.

does it matter if u do bio the first year?

i might have a really messed schedule, so im thinkign of doing bio 1st year
chem 2nd

and physics and orgo 3rd.

Ill be taking the new MCAT, which I believe will be offered in june/july, so i think that will work out perfectly, the material beign fresh in my mind.

wait, so I just heard that next semester I have to take Calc II and Chem 2( basically I have to take 2 semesters of each requirement?? wow, if that's so that is alot of work( but I'm still going to do it.

Thanks

I dunno, most people I know of take bio freshman year, but its up to peoples own preferences.
