Pre-med track cc english classes

I am an incoming freshman and recently attended orientation. When I signed up for my classes, I was told that the U of A would not accept community college english classes as transfer credit under the pre-med track. It appears that the university wants pre-med students to take english classes only at the university. If I had known this, I would not have wasted several semesters at Texarkana Community College. I failed to mention that I also scored a 35 on the english portion of the ACT. I really don’t want to take these classes again. Does anyone have any input on this? I plan to discuss this with my pre-med advisor as soon as possible.

If you got a 30 or higher on your English ACT, you should be exempt from introductory college English classes all together. I would assume it’s the same for pre-med students? Not sure.
