Would it be beneificial to do Pre-Med with a Humanities major?

Depends on your personal strengths and interests. I would talk to the pre-med advisor at your college and ask the question. I’ve heard some folks say that med schools like non-Bio/Chem majors, like it’s a hook. Then again, you’ll still have to take a ton of Bio and Chem to meet prereqs.

These days, being a humanities major is no disadvantage for med school admission, and may, in fact set you apart from the pack (in a good way.) Just make sure that as you set out your college class schedule, you make time to take all the med school prereq’s. And work on those grades. Because as you probably know, for med school it’s all about the GPA and MCATs.
