Pre-Med - Yale, Hopkins, Cornell, UChicago or Columbia?

K i’ve made my decision and I’m so going to Yale!

Yay! See you next year!

PS - I’m a premed at Yale (applying to med schools this summer). If you have any questions about it PM me.

Yale has a significantly higher placement rate into the nation’s top medical schools. In fact, it is higher than any other school in the country (except, arguably, Caltech). There is actually a pretty huge gap between the success rate of Yale pre-meds and the success rate of pre-meds from the other schools on your list.

But most importantly, go to the college where you will be happiest. That’s where you will thrive, learn a lot, interact with your professors, have dinner at their homes, take great courses outside your major, do your best, have fun with the other students… and therefore have the best shot at admissions to the top medical schools.

Great, another pre-med coming to ruin the curve…

Just kidding! Congratulations!

Haha thanks. Magi, I will definitely be taking you up on your offer soon. Just need to finish these darn physics labs.
