Pre med

What is the best major to take with pre med to help with MCAT? Or does it not even matter?

The major you choose does not matter much; as long as you take the medical school prerequisite courses (bio, chem, etc.) you will be prepared for the MCAT.

The major that gets you the highest GPA and the most research experience will be best for med schools.
That, however, could conflict with what is best for you.

mcats only test basic sciences (at great cognitive depth), and you’ll be taking those regardless of your major if you’re premed
