Hello. I am looking at many schools that cater to Pre-med student. I was wondering how good (or worth it) the pre-med program at Fordham is? I am also Jewish, and i realize that it is a Jesuit College, but is they're a Jewish population at Fordham?

I just visited. There’s a Jewish professor who has been there for years and who went to all Ivy League schools for undergrad and grad school and said that he was more comfortable being Jewish at Fordham than he was at any of the other schools and that he liked that there was a respect for all faiths on campus. Alas, I don’t know his name.

acceptance rate to med school this year from Fordham was 88%, according to the dean that spoke at an accepted students day that i attended a couple months ago. This figure competes with those of ivy-league schools (often low to mid 90’s). im starting pre med at Fordham in the fall, cant wait for all of the opportunities the city has to offer those who are interested in medicine (Fordham had established connections with various hospitals in the city).
