Hi, I was wondering if you can sutdy engineering in college but still end up as a doctor. I want to study aerospace engineering but attend medical school after college. Is this possible, or should I say is this a smart thing to do?

As long as you take the prerequisite courses and take the MCAT, it’s possible to go to medical school. You’d need good enough GPA though. Basically, there’s no specific major for medical school. I’m not really sure if there’s really a smart thing to do.

Yes, it’s possible.

My son is an engineering student who is pre-med.

That said, how confident are you that you’ll have a strong GPA in college?
