<p>You can place out of 207, but not 208. You learn nothing in 208 that you haven't already learned in 207. </p>
<p>If you decide to go the Honors route, you can't skip out of 215. 215 is designed for students who got a 5, passed the university's placement test, or are considering majoring in chem.</p>
<p>Can you take 215 if you didn't take AP Chem (or the placement test) but want to go the Honors route?</p>
<p>yes you can but if you are not majoring in chem, i would not recommend it. I took chem 207-208 and almost everyone i knew in that class had taken AP chem and they were finding the course difficult. I can only imagine how chem215-216 students may have felt.</p>
