well you can study a lot of things and still go to med school, so theoretically any school would be good preparation. i would go with the college though because there is a lot more to choose from.

it's a bit of a waste to go to nursing, since you'll graduate with a bsn and then have to rehash a lot of stuff in med school (but that could be an advantage)

the other three schools all allow for premed studies, though wharton's requirements make it just a little bit more difficult

for example:

in SAS, you can study bio.
in SEAS, you can study bioengineering.
in WH, you can study health care management.

there's also the inter-school programs (joint-degree, interdisciplinary minors) that you could explore, too.

most kids, including myself, are in the college at Penn. ENG tends to be harder....so be careful when making a decision

They all say (btw, check out the pre-med forum...):
*Majoring in engineering pre-med is hard, because it's hard to maintain the type of high, competitive GPA
* Philosophy is actually one of the majors from which med schools accept lots of people from.
* It doesn't matter what major you are, as long as you fulfill requirements and make yourself an excellent candidate with high GPAs, volunteer work, etc.
