Pre-med

How is Premed at VT?

And how difficult is it to study Pre-med along with Mechanical Engineering for a good university student.

not a good choice i'd say. Engineering school are known for grade deflation and that matters in Medical school admission process. Furthermore it seems quite useless to study two fields that don't even have remote relationship.

Honestly, it will be almost impossible to get 4.0s in MechE at VT. But grad schools will look very favorably on your course of study--given that Engineering is one of the most rigorous curriculums. VT does have very good grad school placement for engineers. Many ChemE's choose the pre-med option and go to med schools after they graduate.
