makes me wanna ..... how can i put this?

die

drechie, you should visit both campuses to get those questions answered. Please go to www.fordham.edu/admissions for campus visits (Summer Visit Day).

About 95% of the LC Pre-Med students go onto great prestigious Medical Schools, such as NYU and Harvard

Yes, is the bio any good? What is up with the 1989DC post? Are you implying that it's bad?

No, I think he's implying that he is in it and it's very difficult?

About 95% of the LC Pre-Med students go onto great prestigious Medical Schools, such as NYU and Harvard

does anyone know if this is true??

It's true. Dr. Robert, Chair of the LC Natural Sciences Department, has provided Ambassadors this statistic.

so does anyone want to give an opinion on rosehill vrs. lincoln center for premed??

I would say for conveniences sake, and for a better sense of community as well as balanced academics, Rose Hill is your bet.

Lincoln Center is in Manhattan, but there is just a certain sense of community that it lacks, Rose Hill acts like a tight-knit community. Also, the Lincoln Center campus focuses mainly on graduate students (with GSB, the Law School, etc...), but Rose Hill is almost strictly an undergrad orientated campus. Lastly, all the kids from Lincoln Center have to commute out to Rose Hill twice a week for Labs and other type things anyways. It's more convenient for a pre-med student to be at Rose Hill, you'll end up doing most of your work, and spending most of your time there anyways. Plus you'll make a lot of your good Pre-Med friends at Rose Hill.

As for the rigor of academics at both institutions for lecture, it is exactly the same. The percentage of students at LC and Rose Hill getting admitted to Med School is indiscernible. They are essentially the same (may differ by ~2% each year, but it flips, so don't even really consider it. Essentially, Med Schools treat both campuses the same).

thank you "fordham"^,

would you know the acceptance rate of fordham applicants to medical schools? Do you have any statistics? Thank you so much!!

You can pre-med at LC? I thought LC was for business and bio was only at RH. Can I major in something else and have the same schedule as a premed? If I don't get into med school, I don't see any point in a premed degree.
