hi
i was wondering if anyone has a general idea of what kind of courses are in the curriculum throughout all four years when studying pre-med in college?

Do you mean, what classes do premeds have to take?

I know that you have to take basic bio, chem, and physics, two semesters of organic chemistry, two semesters of calculus, and usually a year of English lit/composition.

post #2 is pretty correct, but not entirely.

Must take 1 year (with lab) of biology, general chemistry, physics and organic chemistry.

Most medical schools will be covered if you take 1 semester of calculus and 1 semester of stats.

2 semesters of english will cover you pretty much everywhere.

Most medical schools have some sort of "humanities" requirements, but these are usually impossible NOT to fulfill.

Finally, some medical schools will require courses in Biochem and Genetics, but certainly schools that require either or both are few in number. Still these are helpful courses and will likely be of interest to most pre-meds.
