So after i graduate at a Community college and get some of my lower division requirments done, i move on to upper and then what?

You need to take the MCAT and score really really really high and apply to a medical school. I’m assuming applying for medical school is similar to applying for pharmacy school, but 2X more.

You need to make your application impressive and I don’t mean bs. Download a copy of the application so you can an idea what kind of candidate the school is looking for. There are sections of the application such as work experience or volunteer experience. If you don’t already have experience in the medical field start getting some. Whatever you lack on the application, work on it so you have something to put down. GPA, degrees already held, work experience, volunteer experience, land eadership experience are some key factors.

Your application needs to be complete and impressive since many thousands of students apply each year. After the GPA cut or some other kind of cut, it’s down to a few hundred students who are eligible for an interview. Then only a fraction of those interviewed get accepted. It’s going to be a long and hard process. Prepare yourself well b/c medical school/grad school in general will be 10X tougher than community colleges. Good luck!
