<p>does it really make a difference whether or not you go to a UC or CSU school if you want to go to med school? i realize that UC’s are seen as much more prestigious than CSU’s, but are med schools just looking at GPA rather than the undergraduate school?</p>
<p>^ Where did you hear that from?? If you heard it from this website, you are being totally misled by people you don't know.</p>
<p>Research the accepted students into med schools. You will find that most of them are Ivy/upper UC graduating students. Almost no CSU's could be found.</p>
<p>Overall, yes it also depends on the school for undergraduate as well as much as some people on this thread like to convince themselves otherwise...</p>
<p>Go to Med school forums here on CC, then from the knowledge that you have gained choose either UCD,UCI, or UCSD for pre-med.</p>
