<p>I believe Tokudas already posted something like this, but it seemed to die off. Does anyone one have current info on Smith's pre-med program? Difficulty/med-school acceptance rate...?</p>

<p>But make sure you ask the question the way you want. Most top colleges have med school acceptance rates above 75-80%, and this doesn't count those who apply a year or two later, which is increasingly common. But it doesn't tell you how many potential pre-meds were weeded out in the process, and whether the school screens the candidates they will even allow to apply the process. One could have a 100% admit rate, but only 30% of those who wanted to be docs ever got there, or a 50% admit rate, but 50% of those who wanted to be docs got there. So be sure you frame the question you really want to ask.</p>
