I'm graduating from high school in about six months and I am seriously considering medical school. The problem is, as much as I like science, I struggle with it. I'm not so sure I can get A's in them(i do in high school, but college is a lot different.) If i'm seriously considering pre-med then should I go to a small school (basing this thought that I'd have more individual attention) is that better than perhaps University of Pittsburg(or a large state school?). And what does happen if you can't get into medical school? It doesn't seem like that would be an option after four years of hard work in college. Is college truly as hard as everyone makes it out? I study a lot now, but the way it sounds i feel like i'll be truly unprepared for college. If i struggle in pre-calculus (struggling means getting a 90) then won't i have an awful time in college trying to get A's? I'm not sure my questions are all answerable..

hmm...you're "struggling" with a 90...interesting idea

yes but if its only precalculus and i can't get like 100% how could i do well in other classes? .. like a year of chemistry while maintaining a 3.5 seems a tad daunting..no?

Lucky, you are 10000000000000x better then I was in High School. When I started college I took Developmental Math!!! 1.5 years later I aced Calculus. Now I'm a Junior at U of I champaign. College is not hard at all my friend if your willing to work your ass off. Its just like high school but you have to make your own study schedule. The instructers won't tell you to do your homework...you just come in and take the exam.

thanks, lucky
