Pre-Medicine: Brandeis University or University of Pittsburgh?

Hi! I am a current senior in high school & am trying to decide between Brandeis & Pitt. I am planning on doing pre-med & was wondering which school would be the best? Brandeis does not have a medical school while Pitt does, would that make any difference in my experience?

Can any current pre-med students from Brandeis or Pitt talk about their experiences? Also, medical internships & research opportunities available in undergrad?

Thank you so much!

What choice did you make? My son has the same choice this year.

Hello - I have the v same question. Can you please share your experience?

Pitt by a long shot. Pitt has a medical school (PittMed) and is linked to the biggest hospital/healthcare system in the area (UPMC – University of Pittsburgh Medical Center). The med school is on campus right next to all the undergrad buildings (not like Cornell where the med school is far from the main campus). There is so much medical research going on it’s ridiculous. And PittMed likes to take back Pitt students.
