Pre-Orientation Camps (POST specifically) Worth It?

I'm pretty involved in Community Service and was planning on running for either a Chapter or Regional spot in the NY Red Cross (Chapter member in Los Angeles).

I was thinking of attending the POST Pre-Orientation camp to start some networking with some of the community service people early. Can some of you please shed your knowledge on how productive these camps are, how useful they are, and what your experiences were with the camp? Don't feel restrained by only sharing experiences related to POST; any pre-orientation anecdotes would be appreciated.

Thank you!

my friends who did attend POST thought it was one of the best experiences of their lives. it’s good in the sense that you get to meet a group of people with similar interests who’ll probably be your introductory friend group for at least the first half of freshman year.

That’s awesome, thank you for the information =]
